Our website is intended to provide information about the Club for members and the swimming community at large.

City of Leicester Swimming Club is the Leicestershire Swimming’s Swim 21 Performance Club and is based at Braunstone Leisure Centre in Leicester but trains throughout Leicestershire. The club provides over 120 places for swimmers ranging from Regional to Senior Internationals.

Our Ethos … “Allow every athlete to reach their individual goal, providing them with all the tools and knowledge to reach their potential. We shall create a team atmosphere that all swimmers are there for each other, creating an environment for success and international achievement to be achieved. We shall develop a program that is high in skills and post maturation unique and individual for the athlete. Our athletes are encouraged to take ownership of their futures with open dialogue with their coaches on their long term development”.

The club works in partnership with British Swimming Association and Leicestershire Amateur Swimming Association to provide professional coaching and long term athlete development.

This partnership has produced British Junior and Senior internationals, British Age and Junior record holders, National Senior, Youth and Age champions. As well as placing individuals on ASA England Talent and British Swimming World Class Programmes.

Wavepower 2016–19 is the latest Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) Child Safeguarding Policies and Procedures publication which replaces all previous versions. It has been produced to assist in safeguarding and protecting children in our sport and must be adopted by all ASA affiliated clubs and organisations.
